On February 17, 2009, President Obama signed into law the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (“the ARRA” or “the Act”) which, among other things, changes the continuation of health care coverage under the Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985, as amended (“COBRA”).
